As a Bengal-backing Ohio transplant to the Denver area, I'd be thrilled to see Cincy have to come up here and win a playoff game. I'll be buying tix for that one if that's how it somehow unfolds!

This has all the makings of one of those teams that snuck up on everyone as it blossomed mid-season while noboby really noticed, and played it's best ball down the stretch. The whole "wow, is Geno Atkins the best defensive player in the NFL?" conversation is totally one I see being had by the media if they can win a playoff game, as well as the "Andy Dalton is better than his numbers indicate" conversation... And perhaps, one of those "did that just happen?" sorts of auras is forced upon the media to discuss as the Bengals just won the Super Bowl... Let's hope so!

I'm excited and SUUUUUUPER proud of this team. Being a 35 year old Bengal fan, I obviously temper my hopes and dreams a little bit, if for nothing else, my own sanity, and I certainly hope that this team is prepared for whatever it's first round opponent throws at it. I hope Cincy is able to maintain composure and dictate the game as opposed to react to the way the other opponent tries to make it unfold. I think they weren't ready for the playoffs last year, and now that we're finally in it on a back-to-back run, we can be better prepared and act like we belong. That is my hope.

Congrats Bengals! We're all proud of you!
