Well we survived a close call there with Zim. IDK if anyone was following the Cleveland area media on this one. But it seems that Zim still had an interview scheduled for today when Chud was hired at some point late last night. If Zim does stay with us, there will be no problem motivating him for the Cleveland games! I hate to see Hue go! If Gruden isn't gone this year he will be next year. I hope we don't have a worse case scenario where all 3 land jobs. I still feel Zampese is a great candidate for the OC job. But Jackson would be better. THere are guys out there, but in-house guys already know the team, players, etc. It's a much smoother transition. Replacing Zim would be a hard one. Rob Ryan is out there, Lovie Smith if he doesn't get a HCing job, maybe Ray Horton. But these guys run systems that are very, very different from what we are doing now. Lovie would be the guy who could adjust his system, with Lewis' help. But it would still be a stretch. I do not believe that anyone on the defensive staff now is being considered. But if Jackson gets an OC job, I would bet Rod Woodson would be a top candidate for the asst DBs coach.
