Three players that came into the NFL last season as college free agents and spent some time on the Bengals practice squad were released Thursday as the Bengals make plans for next weekend’s rookie minicamp. Waived were Indiana State wide receiver Justin Hilton, Morgan State fullback Jourdan Brooks, and Arizona State tackle Dan Knapp.

Big HOB, You and I both know that the best way for us to get over this hump is young Talent Mentored by proven Leadership…. Can you say Charles Woodson as fast as I can?

Its not just that we need the talent.. The Bengals need to gain a reputation for being a no nonsense opponent. That starts with guys in the locker room that are intimidated, but inspired by true Leaders. C Woodson brings Leadership to the Safety, CB, and the entire secondary as far as reputation and sound Advice from a proven winner/leader. With us acquiring “Getter Done” Vets at key positions there’s no need to reach for a “Ocho Cinco” anymo… and we can continue to build depth with young coach-able players.
